One of the best origin movies I have seen so far is now available to own! Get your digital copy now or pick it up on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 19! I grew up with G.I. JOE. I loved watching the cartoons, reading the comics, and playing with the toys. I also loved the first two G.I. movies – G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Both movies feature Snake Eyes and I was excited to see the back story of this mysterious character. He is one of our favorites, so it was fun to see his back story come to life.

Henry Golding plays Snake Eyes. He does a fantastic job of bringing this character to life. With him, Tommy ( Andrew Koji), and Haruka Abe as Akiko there is great on-screen chemistry. It tells you so much from when Snake Eyes from a boy up to how he and Storm Shadow become enemies. There is a lot of fighting (martial arts, weapons, etc). There is some language. There are a few scenes that may be too intense for younger viewers. I had my 9-year-old and 11-year-old and they were both ok.

If you are a fan of G.I. Joe, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this movie.
