We saw the Wreck-It Ralph movie a few days ago, and I have to say it was one of the funniest cartoons we have seen in a while. It is made for the family. There is a lot of kid-oriented material but there is also adult humor in it too so you won’t be bored taking your kids to it. If you played video games at all you will LOVE it!
My oldest (8 years old) said that she loved it because “when two people get along it’s really cool, showing that they like each other and that different people can get along.” She thinks it’s really cool, especially that game people come to life when everyone is gone. 🙂 (of course, she knows that it is just pretend….lol)
My 5-year-old thought it was funny (“because Ralph sank in the mud and turned into a monster”) In the part she is referring to, Ralph falls into green goo and then gets covered in candy and ends up looking like the Hulk! It is a very funny part of the movie and I agree with her!
The movie kept my three-year-old entertained. We got to see it in 3-D and it really made it that much better. They were popping out at your scenes, and my kids kept reaching in the hair to try and grab them. lol.
The movie is basically about Ralph (who is the “bad guy” in his game) and his quest to become a good guy. Because of things he does it affects several other games and the story about how one person can make a difference.
This is a great movie to take your kids to this weekend.
