This last weekend was the digital release of the new Paddington movie. We got it through Amazon (since my kids all have Kindles) and we watched it on our Smart TV. We had not had the chance to see it yet, so we were excited to watch it. I am really impressed with the movie. It is heartfelt, funny, and a great family movie. My kids were glued to it and couldn’t wait to watch it again. As part of our party, we made fun treats too. We had some friends over and then enjoyed it as well.
If you want to have some Paddington fun, you can download a free digital party kit on with fun printables, coloring pages, decorations, recipes and more! There is so many fun things to do. A couple of things we did was make Paddington Bear cupcakes, and we also made yummy Bear Snacks with graham crackers, peanut butter, bananas, strawberries and raisins. These were a lot of fun for the kids to make and yummy to eat afterwards!
The cupcakes were made using a Duff Goldman mix. They turned out really good. We then frosted them and added little Teddy Graham crackers to the top of each cupcake and we used the Duff Matte Candy Writer in Red to make little hats for the bears so they looked like Paddington. We also had Paddington bear cupcake wrappers from our party kit and they turned out really cute!
For the Bear Snacks we took a Graham cracker square and spread peanut butter over the top. Then we put three slices of bananas (two for the ears and one for the nose). We used a strawberry piece for the nose and two raisins for the eyes. It was really simple and fun and the kids loved putting them together as much as they did eating them.
We also had a few fun decorations, coloring pages and of course the movie. Overall it was a lot of fun. Since we had a sleepover – the next morning we made Orange Marmalade French Toast. It was pretty easy to put together, just smear one side of bread with Orange Marmalade and the other side with cream cheese and then put them together like a sandwich, then dip them in the egg/milk mixture and cook them. It turned out pretty good. The kids like this version as well as just regular French Toast with the Orange Marmalade on top.
Overall we had a very fun Paddington Party with lots of yummy treats, activities and a great movie to watch! Be sure to check out and download your free digital party kit for Paddington.

It was a lot of fun. The bear snacks were fun – I think we should have used something more round for the eyes – but they turned out cute anyways. lol.
