The My Little Pony: Classic Movie Collection came out today! This two disc set includes Princess Promenade, Runaway Rainbow, Dancing in the Clouds, and Friends Are Never Far Away. I have to tell you, my girls are huge My Little Pony fans and they love these DVD’s. It is four of their favorite Classic My Little Pony movies all in one place. About the four movies:
- Princess Promenade
- Wysteria is excited because her friends are in town for the Ponyville Spring Parade and her garden looks amazing! Wysteria accidentally awakens Spike the Dragon and according to legend this means that a new princess is about to be crowned! But who will be the Princess of Ponyville?
- Runaway Rainbow
- Rarity embarks on a fun adventure to learn how to be a Unicorn Princess and make the first rainbow of the season. Through all of her adventures she meets Spike the Dragon and many other friends. She also realizes that it won’t be easy to get back to Unicornia in time to make the first rainbow.
- Dancing In The Clouds
- The Friendship Ball is coming up, and Twinkle Twirl needs to come up with a special dance. A roller coaster ride with friends makes her feel like she’s “dancing in the clouds,” so Sky Wishes helps her make an extra special wish to come up with a dance to make everyone feel that way.
- Friends Are Never Far Away
- Ponyville and Butterfly Island friends Sky Wishes and Starcatcher the Pegasu want their friends to meet. They plan a party that doesn’t go quite as planned but it is all a fun adventure. Join the pony’s on this fun adventure of ice cream, games, and a ‘special’ Pony party!
Here is what my 6 and 9 year olds had to say about the My Little Pony Classic Movie Collection:
It was great and amazing. My favorite part was where the pony turned into a Princess. Each show was different and new. They were exciting to watch and we liked all of them. (then they went into 10 minutes of details about all of the shows….)
You can own the My Little Pony: Classic Movie Collection for less than $15 on Amazon.
