MAKING YOUR DUMBO CUPCAKES
We just used cream cheese frosting and a little drop of black gel food coloring black gel food coloring and mixed it into a beautiful grey color.
We made printable Dumbo cupcake toppers (ears, trunk, and hat) that you can print out – in color or black and white. Click on the links above to get the printables.
You can frost them using a piping bag and tip, or just spread it around with a knife. I wanted it to be a little higher in the middle, so I used a bag. I printed out the Dumbo cupcake toppers and then taped toothpicks to the backs so I could stick them in the cupcakes.
These are super easy to put together and look so cute!! These are perfect for class parties, birthdays, or just for fun with your kids. Have them help you put them together and make a fun “movie night” of it and then go see Dumbo in theaters.
Here are the free printable Dumbo Cupcake toppers in color or black and white.
To make the stand for the Dumbo cupcake, I took a glass sauce/dipping dish and taped construction paper around it. I also made the backdrop with red and white construction paper that I had cut into strips and then taped together. It was really easy and looks so fun with the Dumbo cupcakes.
ABOUT DISNEY’S DUMBO
From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure DUMBO expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus.
But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
